Depth Of Field


Depth of field is when you have a Foreground, Middle ground and Background  and you try to blur them out or keep them in focus. For this you will have to use a tripod so you wont make the pictures blurry themselves due to shaking and moving the camera around. I have also added my pictures and another picture of a gnome to give you an example of what depth of field is.






Here is an example of what depth of field is as you can see the 2 gnomes at the back and at the front are blurred out and the one in the middle is clearly seen. 


Here is my attempt at doing depth of field. I tried to blur out the foreground, middle ground and background i couldn't quite do it perfectly. We used a tripod so the images were better quality than doing it without a tripod. What i have learnt from this is that you need to move the focus ring so that it will focus on which part you want.
